AI receptionist for local businesses

Every missed call, answered.

We set up an AI receptionist that picks up your missed and after-hours calls, takes the request the way your front desk would, and texts or emails it to you right away. Fewer jobs get lost to voicemail.

You keep your phone number. Calls only reach the agent when you want them to.

Voicemail doesn't book the job.

You're on a job site, out on the course, slammed during the dinner rush, or closed for the night. The phone keeps ringing anyway.

A caller who reaches voicemail can just as easily call the next business on the list. ringpilotHQ picks up when you can't, takes down what they need, and gets it to you fast.

How it works

Set it up once. Your agent picks up from there.

01

Forward your missed calls

Keep your number. Calls go to your agent when nobody picks up, after hours, or all the time. You choose.

02

It answers like your front desk

It greets callers by your business name, is set up to answer only from the info you give it, and collects their name, callback number, what they need, and when.

03

You get the request right away

Every request lands in your inbox. Urgent ones also text your phone, so you can call back before they try someone else.

04

We check delivery every day

Each morning we check that your alerts went out, so if something breaks we can fix it fast, not weeks later.

Who it's for

Golf courses

Tee time requests, changes, outings, and league questions while the pro shop is busy.

HVAC

No-heat and no-cool calls after hours, with gas and carbon monoxide safety questions asked first.

Service and install requests with the address, who owns the property, and when the customer is home.

Restaurants

Large-party and event requests during the rush, with allergy notes passed straight to the manager.

Run a different kind of business? We build the agent around how your front desk already works.

Guardrails

It knows what not to say.

Your agent is set up to work only from the information you give it. When it isn't sure, it's built to take a message instead of guessing.

It's set up to

  • Answer from your business info, and nothing else
  • Take a message when it doesn't know the answer
  • Transfer to a person when the caller asks
  • Tell callers it's an AI assistant if they ask
  • Put safety first on emergency calls, like a gas smell or a sparking outlet

It's set up not to

  • Make up prices, hours, or availability
  • Take credit card numbers over the phone
  • Give do-it-yourself gas or electrical advice
  • Confirm a booking you haven't approved

FAQ

Questions owners ask

Do I need a new phone number?

No. You keep your number and forward calls to the agent only when you want: when nobody answers, after hours, or always.

Will callers know it's an AI?

If a caller asks, it tells them it's your business's AI assistant. It's set up never to claim to be a person.

Can it book straight into my calendar or tee sheet?

Today it sends you the request to confirm. Direct booking depends on your software, and we'll tell you on the demo whether yours supports it.

What if it doesn't know the answer?

It's set up not to guess. It takes the caller's name, number, and question and sends them to you.

What happens on an emergency call?

It points callers to safety first, like getting out of the house and calling 911 for a gas smell, then flags the call as urgent so you're alerted right away. It isn't a substitute for 911 or emergency services.

What if something stops working?

We check every morning that your alerts went out, so problems get caught and fixed quickly.
